Calligraphy with Katie was a wonderful experience. From the commmunication, to the stunning location within a beautiful Georgian House, to the warm welcome and hot drinks and pastries! Katie’s delivery of how to was exemplary, as a complete beginner it needed to be! As a group of 12 we had lots of instructions, time to practise and individual support from Katie. A lovely way to spend a morning, lots more practise needed before embarking on the next phase of learning with Katie. And it was great learning in a small group and we also had a lot of one to one time which was really helpful ! I squeezed on the course at the last minute and am so pleased I did. The setting was elegant and attractive and beautifully laid out on our arrival. Katie was a relaxed and friendly hostess and a very approachable teacher. She took us as a group through each stage of the calligraphy journey at a clear and manageable pace, then gave personal encouragement to each of us as we tried to practice it for ourselves.
