Join Katie Noakes, London Calligraphy’s founder in the Gradidge room at the Art Worker’s Guild for an afternoon to improve your Modern Calligraphy work.
The calligraphy class includes:
- A personalised modern calligraphy improvers kit including an oblique pen holder, inks, a new nib, paper and other stationery treats.
- 2 hours of modern calligraphy instruction, including lots of 1 to 1 help. You will learn how to improve your words, joins and flourishing techniques as well as work with metallic ink and different types of stationery.
- Tips, ideas and insider info from a practicing calligrapher.
- Lots of inspiration to bring handwritten notes back into your life!
- Light refreshments.
Your tutor Katie produces calligraphy work for a wide range of high profile clientele including Royal Ascot, Buckingham Palace, Chanel, Claridge’s, Corinthia London, Fenwick, Fortnum & Mason, Net-a-Porter, Selfridges, Sézane & Tiffany & Co. She loves to share her skills at her calligraphy classes and help people discover their own journey and handwriting style with ink.
The cost of the calligraphy class includes a calligraphy kit.
Workshop duration: 2 hours.
Please note the ink can stain clothes, so please bear this in mind when dressing on the day.
Please arrive by 1:25pm as the calligraphy class will start on time.
Please make sure you can attend the calligraphy class before booking. Tickets are non-refundable.
If Government lockdown regulations mean that your in-person class has to be cancelled, you will have the opportunity to join an online class, or postpone to another in-person class at a later date.
